Kamis, 5 Oktober 2023 bersamaan dengan peringatan hari angkatan bersenjata, berlangsung pula lomba Mata Pelajaran dan Seni Islami (MAPSI) tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) tingkat Sub rayon (SR) 02 yang meliputi SMP di Kecamatan Bandungan, Kecamatan Bawen, Kecamatan Bergas, dan Kecamatan Pringapus. Pelaksanaan lomba MAPSI ini bertempat di SMPN 1 Bandungan.
Kafilah SMP IT Darul Fikri Bawen mengutus kafilah dengan perwakilan semua perlombaan mempunyai wakil. Tim MAPSI didampingi oleh Ustadz Mufid, Ustadz Mamad, dan Ustadzah Krisna. Pagi benar kafilah Darul Fikri sudah berangkat supaya sampai lokasi tepat waktu sehingga bisa mengikuti seremonial pembukaan dan bisa melihat tempat yang akan digunakan untuk perlombaan.
Perlombaan berjalan dengan lancar namun menegangkan. Kafilah Darul Fikri Bawen berupaya untuk tampil sebaik mungkin sesuai dengan latihan yang selama ini sudah dilaksanakan secara rutin. Sportifitas dalam perlombaan tetap dijaga dengan niatan fastabiqul khoirot.
Alhamdulillah kafilah Darul Fikri Bawen mendapatkan 6 piala dengan kategori sebagai berikut:
- Juara I Lomba Tahfidz Putera
- Juara I Lomba Tartil Putera
- Juara III Lomba Tartil Puteri
- Juara II Tilawatil Qur’an Putera
- Juara II Kaligrafi Puteri
- Juara III Pidato Putera
Selanjutnya untuk para juara I akan maju ke lomba MAPSI SMPT tingkat Kabupaten Semarang. Semoga dalam kompetisi selanjutnya para siswa Darul Fikri bisa terus menunjukkan keistiqomahannya dalam menjaga kualitas diri. Tidak kalah penting tetap istiqomah melakukan kegiatan pengembangan diri di sekolah agar selalu siap meskipun bukan hanya untuk perlombaan.
